Meihua Mountain in Nanjing - Enjoy the flowers, the moon, and the fragrant knots

Meihua Mountain is located at the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, and it is the best spot to enjoy the flowers in March. 😄 Besides the variety of plum blossoms, there are also star magnolias (the first photo, standing tall before blooming, and lazily after blooming, very vivid 😄), fragrant knots (the second photo, blooming again for another year, ingeniously tied with a shared fragrance), crabapples (the dazzling red kind), and wintersweet, all competing in beauty. The sunshine is just right, the flowers are in full bloom, and the mood is just perfect. Meihua Mountain is located in the Zijin Mountain's southern foothills within the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum scenic area in Xuanwu District, Nanjing City. It is an important part of the Zhongshan Scenic Area and is also a famous scenic spot in China. Nanjing's Meihua Mountain is known as 'the number one plum mountain under heaven' and, along with Shanghai Dianshan Lake Plum Garden, Wuxi Plum Garden, and Wuhan East Lake Plum Garden, is one of the four great plum gardens in China, ranking first among them. Nanjing began planting plum trees during the Six Dynasties period, a tradition that has continued without decline for over 1500 years, earning the reputation of 'the best plum blossoms in Jinling'.
