The Osaka branch is tucked away in a small alley in Namba, located opposite a bakery and a coffee shop. The second-floor dining area exudes a cozy Japanese vibe. The must-buy signature raw toast is a highlight! A 2-pound loaf costs around 60 RMB, and its cloud-like softness is already therapeutic on its own. Pair it with the seasonal jam (1,100 yen), whose sweet and tangy fruitiness perfectly complements the wheat aroma of the toast—an ideal match! If you bring your receipt to the coffee shop across the street, you can get 100 yen off your drink. I tried the summer special affogato, which combines ice cream with espresso for a bittersweet flavor, though I found it slightly too sweet for my taste. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the appetite to try the second-floor dining options, but the grilled toast sets and savory dishes looked very tempting! Remember—bread purchased on the first floor cannot be brought upstairs. If you want to eat on-site, you’ll need to order from the second-floor menu. In the end, I carried a big bag of toast back to the hotel, paired it with coffee, and indulged to my heart’s content!
