First, I felt the local sensibility while walking through downtown Palm Springs. After that, I took the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway up to the top of San José Cinto Mountain. It was amazing to move from the hot desert to the cool highlands in just a few minutes, and the view of Palm Springs and the endless desert from the top was truly overwhelming. During the day, I enjoyed shopping at Desert Hills Premium Outlets, and in the evening, I soaked in warm water at the resort's outdoor pool and admired the desert sky full of stars. If you have enough time, you can visit Joshua Tree National Park to see even more mysterious desert scenery.
