Recently, I had the chance to stay at the Central Waterfront Resort in Phuket, tucked away in a quiet corner of the lesser-known Karon Beach. It’s definitely the perfect choice for those who want a peaceful holiday. Just a two-minute walk downstairs from the hotel takes you to the beautiful Karon Beach, where the sunshine is bright and the waves tell stories of the sea breeze. Even better, the area around not only has the beach but also convenience stores, restaurants, and all kinds of delicious food and drinks. Transportation is convenient too, with a bus stop right at the door, making it easy to get to Patong and the airport. ⛱️🍴 Staying at the Central Waterfront Resort, the biggest feeling is the warm, family-like atmosphere here. The suites are spacious, fully equipped, and have a bit of a vintage vibe, but they are very clean. The view is truly amazing, with balconies facing directly toward the sea. Sitting on the balcony chair at night, watching the stars twinkle and falling asleep to the sound of the waves is incredibly relaxing and healing. For light sleepers, the room’s soundproofing is pretty good, and earplugs are provided just in case. The courtyard pool is clean and inviting, perfect for a swim to cool off. 🏊‍♂️🌊 The hotel rooms are really large, and the two-bedroom suites give a homey feeling. Each room has a balcony with easy access to unbeatable sea views. The air conditioning is surprisingly powerful with great cooling, though it’s a bit noisy, but you get used to it quickly. Breakfast is provided in the room in a box, which I found quite fun—it includes cornflakes, milk, pastries, and fruit. Simple but very practical, plus there’s a kitchen where I could cook a little. 👨‍🍳🥐 There are many great places around Karon that you definitely shouldn’t miss! Families with kids can visit the Big Buddha of Phuket and join a Thai cooking class to experience tropical vibes and local culture. For those interested, you can try scuba diving or enjoy a relaxing massage at places like Unique Fashion and Sunshine Massage 2 Karon Beach, both highly recommended. Of course, dining is convenient too, with popular local restaurants nearby like MINT Bar & Restaurant and Dinner In The Sky Phuket | Restaurant. 🌟🍽️ Of course, the Central Waterfront Resort has a few minor drawbacks. The noisy air conditioning is a bit of a headache but not a dealbreaker. The music from the bar street at night can be a little loud, but you can wear earplugs or ask the front desk to adjust your room location—the service is very thoughtful, so it’s just a small hiccup. Overall, this place is definitely one I would visit again, with excellent value for money and a lodging experience that won’t disappoint. 🕺🎶 The sea breeze in Karon mixed with the hotel’s warmth made for a sunny and wonderful holiday. 🏖️💖
