Famous Twelve Apostles of Great Ocean Road

If you drive down the Great Ocean Road in Australia, be sure to stop by the famous Twelve Apostles! The Twelve Apostles is a cluster of limestone pillars rising out of the Southern Ocean off the shore of Port Campbell National Park. These pillars were once limestone cliffs that faced constant erosion from the waves and winds. The best view is during sunrise or sunset where you can watch as the rocks change colour under different sunlight conditions. There’s a viewing platform where you can admire the Twelve Apostles or take a stroll by the beach to see them up close. From Melbourne, it is a 4.5 hour scenic drive along the Great Ocean Road to the Twelve Apostles. May be a long drive, but the scenery is definitely worth it! #momentssg #australia #scenicspotguide #nationalpark
