Zhongshan Park

Separated by a road from the Qingdao Tiantai Stadium is Qingdao's comprehensive park—Zhongshan Park. The park is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea to the south. The park is lush with trees and foliage, making it the most characteristic vegetation landscape in the Qingdao urban area. To the east of the park lies Taiping Mountain, which connects to the Qingdao Botanical Garden; to the north, it is adjacent to the Qingdao Zoo and Qingdao Jue Lin Park, and to the west, it is close to the Baihua Garden. Nearly a hundred varieties of trees in the garden merge with the seasonal flowers of the park, creating a vast sea of trees. tips: The tulips and magnolias (pink, white, and yellow) are almost all in bloom now, the cherry blossoms have not yet bloomed, and there are peonies and osmanthus in the park (neither of which have reached their blooming season).
