Ceking Rice Terrace 😍

#balitrip We loved this place - it's so beautiful and amazingly accessible. We just drove, stood by the side of the road and went for a walk. The gentlemen who sold us the indicators also helped us park. At the end of our walk, we sat down and saw the entire space of the balcony and drink coffee. Really nice... We stopped here during a private all-day car tour around Ubud. We had lunch down the street and we can walk. The scene is stunning, walking through the stands was amazing. I had a real sense of how downsided the stands were after walking down and then up! It wasn't very crowded but I can see that it got busy and not fun because the paths are tight, like bridges and some lanes. The view on the cedar terraces is amazing (as long as the weather is good) it can get very crowded here because it is definitely in Bali’s itinerary “I have to get my Instagram story” but nevertheless, it’s worth the trip. It's about 20 - 30 minutes by car from Ubud and you don't need to spend a lot of time here. Unless you want the picture on the swing with the dress etc etc. There are plenty of other less-worthy photo opportunities on Insta that were free when you were there and if you want to spend more time – go down to the stands – a lot of locals working as guides to show you more.
