Viking capital - Roskilde

Roskilde What was once the capital of Denmark is now a cute little town, easily reached by train from Copenhagen. It’s a nice trip, perfect for families, solo travellers, friends or couples. The Viking museum doesn’t seem much online but it’s instead a very interesting experience. Kids can enjoy making their own boat, adults too 😊. If you arrive in time there are three guided tours, in three different sections of the museum. The first one will explain everything you need to know about the “Viking age”, the museum and boat building. The third is quite fun as well as you will be shown the Viking way of combat (there’s also a slot for families).
