Capitole Square.. Beautiful castle and warm sunshine...

Salzburg Cathedral's south side is Kapitelplatz (Capitole Square). The name was given because it is the location of the cathedral's chapter house. The title of the 9-meter high sculpture featuring a man standing on a golden sphere is 'Sphaera', a Latin word meaning sphere, and it resembles the gold-foil-wrapped round Mozart chocolates, known as a monument for the inventor of Mozart chocolates. Viewed from beside the cathedral, Capitole Square is backed by the majestic panorama of Hohensalzburg Fortress, creating a spectacular scene with the blue sky.
