#wheretogo We treat ourselves to Phil's BBQ during our trip to San Diego because saw the high ratings online. And Oh my! It was BEYOND EXPECTATIONS! Ribs were cooked right and with strong barbeque flavors, we didn’t even need to bite hard and the meat just fell off the bone. Their sauce is so good and paired well with the meat. Mind you, portions were HUGE! When we got there during dinner hour, the restaurant is very busy with long queue. I would advise to go there for lunch or early dinner to avoid long waiting time.
