Pre-Columbian Treasures

The Museum of Pre-Columbian Art in Santiago is a treasure trove of historic art from South America’s native groups. Their collection features over 3,000 pieces from nearly 100 different groups of people. Take a walk through history and observe some of the best pre-columbian art you’ll find in the world. Well designed exhibits introduce different groups and show similarities across societies. Tips: 🔹 Give yourself at least 3 hours to stroll through the galleries. The museum is fairly expansive. 🔹Take public transit to save on cab fare. 🔹The surrounding neighborhood is very walkable. Be sure to visit the Presidential Palace nearby.
