To the longed-for Hanok

#tripAccommodation This time I stayed at a hanok house that I had always wanted to stay in. The nearest station is Gyeongbokgung Palace, and it's conveniently located less than a minute from the station. What's more, the nearest exit has an escalator that goes up to the ground...!! If you've ever used a subway station in Korea, you'll know that having an escalator at the nearest exit is a huge plus👍 Thanks to the escalator, you don't have to carry a heavy suitcase up the stairs or push through a crowd to find an elevator. Once you get to the ground level, it's a nearly flat road and you arrive at the inn in just under a minute. You'll pass through the auto-locking door twice and arrive at a private space that no one else can enter. There is a courtyard, a spacious kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom, and down the hallway there is a toilet and shower. [Good points] • Close to the station • Lots of restaurants nearby • Floor heating and efficient air conditioning • You can eat coffee and cup ramen in the kitchen as much as you like • The inn is set back from the main road and the restaurant street, so you don't have to worry about noise or talking, and it was very quiet [Things you should know before staying] • There was a step when going to the kitchen or toilet (I didn't have a problem with it, but I thought it might be inconvenient for elderly people?) • Unlike a hotel, there are no staff on-site, so if you have any problems, you have to communicate by message • It is generally clean, but there were many parts of the bathroom that felt old (no problem using it) It is also close to Bukchon Hanok Village, one of the places in Seoul where you can feel the most Korean atmosphere, and it was also very nice to walk to the neighboring Anguk Station☺️ I have traveled to Korea nearly 50 times, but this was my first time staying in a hanok, which made my travel memories more special than usual. If you're interested, please check it out. #trip #Korea #seoul #visittoKorea #Gyeongbokgung Palace 🇰🇷Gyeongbokgung Stay 🚉Gyeongbokgung Palace Exit 3
