Kimpton Qiantan Hotel Shanghai Kimpton Qiantan is a very new hotel. The interior, from the lobby to the guest rooms, is dominated by dark tones, creating a deep and quiet atmosphere. This style is popular among designers and the younger generation. When I stayed at the hotel, I saw several groups of young people in their twenties taking photos. However, it may not be as popular among older people. The bathroom fixtures are high-end Hansgrohe products, and the materials and colors are consistent with the overall style. The restaurant and bar have a different style, leaning towards retro, perhaps to allow guests to reminisce about the classic Shanghai of the 1930s and 1940s.
