Shambhala Kalachakra Mandala City

Located in the Mandala Square on Changzheng Avenue in Shangri-La, the Shambhala Kalachakra Mandala City was completed and opened in July 2015 after more than a decade of effort. It serves as a cultural and museum center integrating activities such as chanting and pilgrimage for worshippers and Tibetan Buddhist monks, cultural relics protection, and cultural promotion. The center displays the Kalachakra Mandala, Kalachakra Vajra, Thangkas, Tibetan medicine, ritual instruments, ancient Tibetan weapons, costumes, Buddha statues, and more. It was named by the 11th Panchen Lama and has been certified by Guinness World Records as the world's largest indoor mandala. The Kalachakra Vajra and Tibetan medicine have been included in the China Great World Guinness Records.
