Nasir al-Mulk Mosque Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
First trip to Persia - The Pink Mosque
To be honest, I generally don't make detailed plans before I go out to travel, I like the randomness and spontaneity of seeing whatever scenery God gives me; when I go abroad with a group, I never read the group notice, I only grasp the information of the round-trip ticket, I leave everything to the creator.
This way I can always open my eyes like a child, to be amazed, to smile alone in my heart, all these are unexpected surprises.
The day before I was shocked by the green mosque, the group members told me that the pink mosque tomorrow is also good looking.
The first ray of sunlight came in, we were the first wave of visitors to arrive, we can take pictures freely.
It's really beautiful, it's indescribable.
The real name of the Pink Mosque is Nasir al-Mulk Mosque, located in the ancient city of Shiraz. It was built in the 19th century during the Qajar dynasty and took 12 years to carve.
A large amount of pink glazed color is used for decoration inside and outside the building, the sunlight passes through the colored glazed bricks, reflecting the colorful light like a dream. The floor is covered with exquisite Persian carpets, the sunlight shines directly on the carpet, the color and lines are perfectly combined, like a kaleidoscope.
Indulged in the colorful inside, I didn't know that the outside was also unique, the design was exquisite, small and exquisite, very cute.
The most beautiful mosque
In Shiraz, this is the most beautiful mosque known as the Pink Mosque. Its stained glass window with the morning sun shining in makes it the most instagramer mosque. Be prepare to get up early and head over there to get the most pretty pic.
The Pink Mosque of Shiraz, the romantic city of Iran.
The Masjid-i-Masumeh is located in the ancient city of Shiraz, Iran, and is known as the most beautiful mosque in the city. The mosque uses a large amount of colored glass and pink tiles inside, hence it is called the Pink Mosque.
The visual stimulation of the Pink Mosque, with its pink tiles, colorful glass, and vibrant carpets, is unparalleled among mosques around the world.
The interior of the Mosque of Mokha is decorated with a large amount of pink ceramic tiles. In addition to the typical features of traditional mosque architecture, it also has a very rare large colored stained glass window (more commonly seen in European churches). The filtered sunlight through the stained glass window, combined with the indoor colored ceramic tiles and Persian carpets, creates a dreamlike and magnificent light and shadow inside.
Attraction name: Mosque of Makkah
Attraction location: Lotf Ali Khan Zand Street, Shiraz, Fars Province, Iran.
Transportation: Take the subway or rent a car for self-driving.
Notes
The scenic spot is relatively remote and not easily accessible by public transportation. The only way to get there is by driving, so it is more convenient to travel by car. Renting a car for self-driving is not expensive, especially if traveling with multiple people, the cost can be split evenly and it is more cost-effective. Plus, it's more comfortable to travel this way.

Persepolis Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Iran Trip
On April 26, 2023 at 11:00 Iran time, the "Expert-led Exploration of the Wonders of the Persian Empire in Iran" team arrived at their first stop, Persepolis, after a two-hour drive from Shiraz this morning. Yu Su introduced that this was the second capital of the Persian Achaemenid dynasty, located in a basin in the Zagros Mountains of Iran. It was built during the reign of Darius the Great (ruled from 522 BC to 486 BC), and its ruins were discovered near Takht-e Jamshid, 52 kilometers northeast of Shiraz. The city is situated to the east of a mountain and is surrounded by walls on the other three sides. The main remains include the audience hall of King Darius and the Hundred Column Palace.
The pink lake of Iran or mars?
Maharloo Lake is located in the highland of Shiraz, Iran. It is dark pink in colour due to the red tides underneath, hence lovingly called the Pink Lake.
It is a seasonal salt lake with the size approx 25000 hectres. Undoubtedly the most amazing and strangest sight I have ever seen and honestly ,it made me nervous.
We took a flight with Paramotor that made it possible for us to the the lake from high above.
Drive or hire a taxi to get there as it is not accessible to public transportation. Get the taxi to wait up whilst you do the touristy stuff and selfies. There is no other activity than taking pictures, walk on salt, paragliding, picnic and a little hike along the lake.
There were flamingos! A lot of them too.
I can't fully describe how i feel about this place, yes it was pretty, 100%..but it was also so very strange. Almost feel like you are in some sci-fi film.
It reminded me of Vormir (avengers, where the soul stone was (found). It is insanely beautiful and scary at the same time.
No restaurants of here just enjoy the beautiful lake, hold some salt and take lots of pictures! This is nature showing off.

Persepolis, beauty in ruins, beauty in awe.
Persepolis was the capital of the ancient Persian Empire, destroyed during Alexander the Great's eastern campaign. For thousands of years, the ruins have stood on the Iranian plateau.
Standing in front of this world cultural heritage site, it is inevitable to evoke a sense of nostalgia.
Iranian ancient civilization ruins - Persepolis
Located in the south of Iran, Persepolis was the capital of ancient Persia in the 6th century BC. After thousands of years, many relics and remains have weathered away with time, leaving behind a thick book without words for future generations to touch and interpret.

Eram Garden Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
one of the most beautiful gardens in Iran where you can see ancient buildings and lots of flowers with amazing designs. There are some stalls to get delicious traditional foods and sweets. It is amazing for taking pictures and having a leisurely walk.
Day1 Shiraz Grand Bazaar / Karim Khan Castle / Lamp King's Tomb
Shiraz's Grand Bazaar Dehran is a lot of shopping, there are many Persian blankets.
day2 Pink Mosque / Quran Gate / Persepolis / Paradise Garden
Although the Raiders wrote that the Pink Mosque opened at 8 o'clock, actually opened at 7 o'clock in the morning, must go early to shoot In the early morning, the first ray of sunshine shines through the stained glass. After 8 o'clock, there will be a lot of people.
Shiraz, Iran|The Persian soul of "Roses and Nightingales"
Shiraz is the Persian soul of "Roses and Nightingales", a city of poetry that gave birth to Hafez and Saadi, the four pillars of Persian literature, akin to China's Li Bai and Du Fu.
📔 Hafez is Iran's most romantic poet, often mentioning roses and nightingales in his poetry. In Iran, the distribution of Hafez's poetry collection is second only to the Quran, and an edition of "The Collection of Hafez's Poems" is a must on the table during the Iranian New Year.
📚 Saadi's poetry, on the other hand, is more concerned with the suffering of the people and the praise of labor. Saadi loved to travel, similar to Li Bai, and he traveled extensively, reportedly even visiting Kashgar in Xinjiang. It is also said that when Ibn Battuta traveled to the Southern Song Dynasty, he heard a songstress in Hangzhou singing Saadi's poetry.
🛕 To commemorate these two great poets, Shiraz has built tombs for Hafez and Saadi. Here we see a Chinese edition of Hafez's poetry collection, so we all recite it aloud to express our respect for the poet.
🚗 On the journey of "Following the Footsteps of the Empire" in Iran, my favorite is Shiraz, which is more fashionable than Isfahan and Yazd, and more leisurely and artistic than Tehran. Isfahan, due to its location on the Silk Road, has developed commerce, so people are shrewd, business-minded, and care more about money; Yazd, because it is located in the desert, lacks water and various resources, so they maximize the value of certain things.
🏡 Perhaps nourished by poetry, the people of Shiraz are more emotionally rich and delicate, and they treat life in a more 'Buddhist' manner.
👧 Shiraz is also known for its beautiful women, the biggest feature being their large eyes, with eyelashes that seem to be glued on. On the streets of Shiraz, you will also see many book stalls and newsstands, which have already become history in our country.
🌟 There are many fun places in Shiraz, such as the Pink Mosque, Eram Garden, Ali Ibn Hamza Shrine, Vakil Mosque, Vakil Bazaar, and the ruins of Persepolis.
📣 The poet Jahan said:
When spring comes to Shiraz, the joy is incomparable:
Sitting by the stream, drinking, kissing, drumming, playing the flute,
Strumming the lute and the harp in harmony;
And with the good people here, Shiraz truly brings joy.
Shiraz·Fars Province
Paradise Garden is very famous in Iran. The scenic paradise garden is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Of course, it is not a World Cultural Heritage. It does not care for Shiraz locals. It is just a gimmick to attract foreign tourists. .
Paradise Garden is the most popular attraction in Iran. Even if Paradise Garden collects 200,000 rials for locals, it is still difficult to stop their enthusiasm.
Paradise Garden has a history of more than 900 years. The great poet Hafiz once mentioned this in many poems. In 1749-1793, the rulers of the Zand Dynasty dynasty lived here. Until 1963, Shiraz University took over the garden from the local government. In 2008, it became a listed plant research center. In the paradise garden, there are hordes of local families, couples and a variety of good friends. The tickets for 200,000 riyals per person are not cheap for the local consumption of Shiraz, so Iranians can also be seen. A favorite of the Persian gardens.
Persian Garden is surrounded by local local living areas. The mansions are very beautiful. The environment here is very beautiful. The ancient trees are beautiful and the scenery is better than the interior of the paradise garden. It is very enjoyable to walk.
Shahcheragh Holy Shrine Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
999 places I want to go~ Tomb of Shah Cheragh in Iran
The Tomb of Lamp King is the burial place of two sons of the seventh Shia Imam Kadhim (buried in Baghdad), Ahmad and Muhammad, who fled here to escape the pursuit of the Abbasid dynasty around 900 AD and were eventually caught and Murdered.
At first, there were only tombs here. Later, a local Aya Tula passed by and found light coming out of a cave. After excavation, the tomb was named "Lamp King". A magnificent mosque and theological college were built on the original site. The building was first constructed in the 12th century and was designed in its current form in the 14th century.
From the ceiling to the walls inside the tomb, millions of mirror fragments, stained glass, and crystal chandeliers are decorated. When the sunlight shines in, it reflects in all directions, creating a gorgeous and dreamy visual effect, making people feel like they have stepped into a kaleidoscope.
Shah Cheragh means "King of Light". There are some theories about why it is called the "King of Light". Some people believe that before the reign of Amir Adud Al-Dawla, no one knew where Ahamed-Ebne-Musa was buried. There were some houses around. An old woman lived there. She saw the lights on every Thursday night. It shone until sunrise. After a while, she thought that it might be the tomb of a divine hero. She decided to inform Amir Adud Al-Dawla. The Amir believed her and decided to go there on the first Thursday. The king went to the old woman's house and asked her to inform him as soon as she saw the light. Soon, the old woman saw the light and exclaimed three times, "King! Light!" The king saw the dawn and sent someone to investigate who was buried there.
The tomb of the King of Light, the famous religious pilgrimage site in Iran.
The Tomb of the Illuminated King of Iran is the tomb of Ahmad, the brother of Imam Reza, the Prophet of Islam in 835 AD. It was built in the 12th century and is a famous pilgrimage site for Iranian religion, but it also allows non-Islamists to enter under the guidance of a guide. Visiting some of the venues, the interior is exquisite and jaw-dropping, and the beauty of Iran is also vividly displayed here.
The Tomb of the King of Light is located in the southern Iranian city of Shiraz and can choose to fly from Iran. The Shiraz city is not big, the famous Pink Mosque is about ten minutes walk from the Tomb of the King of Light, and you can consider playing together.
Guangming King's Tomb has a special foreign tourist office. Non-Islamic people need to visit it under their leadership. They can't visit the site at will, and the tour service is free, and there is a free tour guide.
Tips:
Visitors are not allowed to enter the tour at will, backpacks, etc. must be registered, no camera is allowed, but the phone is allowed to shoot.
No tickets are required, and women are provided with robes for free.
Shiraz is known as the "City of Roses and Nightingales", and the Tomb of the Light King is a must-see attraction.
In 835 AD, one of the 17 brothers of Imam Reza was killed by the caliphate king here, and the remains were buried here. It is now the tomb of the noble lamp king and the shrine of the Shiite Muslims. The
lighting king's tomb is open 24 hours, but if visitors want to visit, they need to be accompanied by a special person. Women also wear chador. When a Muslim woman enters the mosque, she wears a black coat to cover the face and hands. Nowhere else, even the hair can't be exposed.
Although accompanied by a special person, tourists who are not Muslims can not enter the main hall and can only visit in the yard, but even so, the marble columns, the domes and walls that are piled up with countless glass mirrors, the beautiful Persian carpets on the ground It is also amazing enough.
It is in the afternoon to visit the tomb of the King of Light, and it is free to visit the door, but a local tour guide is needed to explain the tourists. As a non-Muslim visitor, it is also not allowed to enter the main hall of the Mausoleum of the Tomb. It can only be watched outside the door.
The mosque is really a cool place for Iran in the summer. Muslims come here to finish the prayer. Many people sit in the temple to think about life, and many of them lie down and sleep directly. Still comfortable. When adults sleep, the children chase after the fight. Many people say that the mosque in Iran is a daytime scene and a night scene. During the day, you can see the magnificent architecture and colorful patterns in the sun, and enjoy another landscape illuminated by the lights at night.
After the day's explanation tour, we ran again in the evening. It is already 10 o'clock in the evening, and many Muslims are visiting the shrine.

Shiraz·Fars Province
Shiraz - City of Nightingales and Roses 🌹
Shiraz, also spelled Shirāz, is the capital city of Fārsostān province in southwestern Iran. It is located in the central part of Fars, south of the Zagros Mountains, at an elevation of 1486 meters (4,875 feet) in an agricultural lowland. It is famous for its wine and is both a historic site and a charming modern city with gardens, temples, and mosques. Shiraz is the birthplace of Persian poets Saadi and Hāfez, whose garden tombs have been beautifully renovated and are located in the northern suburbs. Despite catastrophic floods (in 1630 and 1668), plagues, famines, and earthquakes (mainly in 1824 and 1853), most of the city has been spared. Shiraz has been praised repeatedly by romantic poets and travelers and is revered as the birthplace of the great Persian literary masters Hāfez and Saadi, a city full of tradition and culture. Visitors will be able to see the tombs of the great writers located between the Afifabad and Eram gardens, dotted with palm trees and blooming flowers, as well as the intricate vine patterns inside the Nasiral-Mulk Mosque and the Qor' one Gate, which has a history of 1000 years. Surprisingly, the town is also named after a popular wine, and although the stacked vineyards of Fars province have long since dried up, it is believed that some of the world's earliest white wines were produced here nearly seven thousand years ago.
It is said that every Iranian family has two books, the Qur'an and Hafez's poetry collection, showing Hafiz's position in the minds of Iranians. Because of the birth of Hafez, the Shiraz also won the love of the Iranians.
Hafiz has an irreplaceable position in Iran, a poet who has been infinitely deified. I have always wanted to find a person who is familiar with each other to make a metaphor. On the time, his life is the Yuan Dynasty. On the achievements, it is still difficult for the Yuan Dynasty to find a character who is comparable to him. Hafiz Persian means that people who can recite the Qur'an are meant to be knowledgeable.
