Great View of Preah Khan Temple in SR

#timetotravel The temple of Preah Khan was built by King Jayavarman VII (Jayavarman VII) after he defeated the Cham army in the late 12th century in 1191. During the reign of Jayavarman VII, he practiced Mahayana Buddhism. The temple of Preah Khan has a rectangular layout that is 800 meters long and 700 meters wide. The temple has four floors of walls and gopuras (gates) temples in all four directions. On either side of the four gopuras, there is a statue of "Gurud" on the floor of a dragon carved into the temple walls. Prasat Preah Khan is not only a temple dedicated to the Father. Prasat Preah Khan was one of the former major capitals of Jayavarman VII when he rebuilt Angkor Thom, which had been burnt down by the Cham army. Jayavarman VII built the walls of Angkor Thom before Builder of Bayon temple. After Jayavarman VII returned to the capital in Angkor Thom, Preah Khan was used for training and religion.
