Angkor Wat Travel Guide, grand and overwhelming, too much to see

Angkor Wat, as one of the Seven Wonders of the World, only when you are there can you be deeply shocked by it. If you like history and ancient architecture and prefer to take your time, it's worth staying for a week. If you're just having a quick look, two days is probably enough. 1. Three must-visit places: Angkor Wat, Bayon Temple, and Ta Prohm. The first is a must-see for sunrise, the second is known as the 'Smile of Khmer', and the third is the filming location for Tomb Raider, where ancient ruins are impressively entangled with old trees. 2. Sunrise at Angkor Wat, sunset at Phnom Bakheng. Unfortunately, I went early and didn't see either. A reminder that there's no need to go too early, leave half an hour for walking. 3. Regarding transportation, I took a night bus from Phnom Penh and arrived at 4:20 AM, negotiated with a tuk-tuk driver for 8 dollars, went to buy a ticket first, and then to see the sunrise. Highly recommend the Grab app, it's super useful for taxis, and the prices are relatively reasonable. Also, the main attractions in the small circuit are relatively concentrated, so it's not bad to take a taxi there and then rent a bicycle. Another option is to rent a motorcycle, they are available everywhere. 4. Regarding food, there are actually places to eat at the entrance of each attraction, and you can bargain. For example, coconuts are listed at 2 dollars on the menu, but actually, it's just 1 dollar. Some meals are listed at 7 dollars, but 4 dollars is enough. There are more options at night, like the restaurants I went to every day, where a meal generally costs two or three dollars, and beer half a dollar. And there are places with signboards. Also, don't easily ask for tap water to drink, I was charged 4 dollars by one restaurant. 5. Regarding accommodation, choose according to your own conditions, if you like the lively atmosphere near Pub Street, if you prefer quiet, stay a bit further away and it's cheaper. 6. Regarding money exchange, some people say that the airport is not a good place to exchange money, 1 dollar for 4000, but at the Angkor Wat ticket office, it's 1 dollar for 4130. However, it's more cost-effective to spend local money because local vendors all calculate at a rate of 1 to 4000. 7. About the attractions, I didn't go to the outer circle, just walking around the inner circle was exhausting, I ended up lying down and falling asleep in a pile of rubble. Besides the three major temples, the other surrounding ones are relatively ordinary. Banteay Kdei is a bit special, also a place to watch the sunset. Chau Say Tevoda was built with Chinese aid, also known as Ta Keo, really tall, fewer people, I saw a couple sitting at the top of the tower waiting for the sunset, quite beautiful. About safety: Very safe. Next time I go, I want to stay a few more days. It was too tiring to visit many places in a short time. About the internet: I recommend Metfone, plug and play, very convenient. It's also available in hotels, but many hotels have poor internet.
