Washington mini travel itinerary 🏔️🌿🐿️

🌲 Day 1: A cute cabin stay in Skykomish (2.5 hour drive from Seattle). We stayed at @stay.pnw and enjoyed it very much 🌲 Day 2: Mount McCausland trail: 7 miles, 1,758 ft elevation gain and takes about 4 hours. Please be aware that the trail is unmarked and there are very few people - we were completely alone at the top 🌲 Day 3: Colchuck lake in Leavenworth area. This trail is no joke - it made it to #2 on my personal list of the hardest trails. It’s about 9 miles round trip and 2,326 ft elevation gain 🌲 Day 4: Leavenworth is a super cute Bavarian town, I wish we had more time to spend there 🌲 Day 5: Mount Rainier NP and Tolmie Peak trail - absolutely stunning view at the top, especially at sunset. The trail is well maintained, there are a lot of people so it’s totally fine to watch the sunset at the top and come down in the dark. It’s only 1,541 ft elevation gain and marked as moderate
