Day Trip to Lake Naivasha and Crescent Walking Safari - See Wild Fish Eagles Hunt!

Getting There - I stayed at Naivasha Sopa Lodge for the night and drove to the lake the next day. it's about a 30 minute drive from the lodge. Attractions - High density of birds. A perfect location for birding. You take a boat on to the lake for a ride and spot all sorts of birds; fish eagles, kingfishers, Egyptian geese, heron and many more. As a bonus, there are a lot of hippos in the lake. After about 30 minutes on the boat, you will reach Crescent for a walking safari. They have zebras, giraffes, impalas and buffalos to name a few. Hotels - Naivasha Sopa Lodge. Beautiful lodge with cozy rooms and access to Lake Naivasha. They also have zebras and waterbucks roaming around in front of the rooms. Food & Restaurants - The lodge has an excellent restaurant.
