Hwaseong Fortress One-Day Tour: Exploring a World Cultural Heritage in South Korea.

Many might not be familiar with Gyeonggi-do near Seoul, but you've probably heard of Suwon city. Home to Samsung, Korea's largest tech company, this city with a population of over a million is also brimming with numerous historical landmarks and cultural characteristics. Today, we're going to introduce Hwaseong Fortress in Suwon, along with the nearby Hwaseong Haenggung Palace. Hwaseong Fortress is already a World Cultural Heritage site, similar to the Great Wall of China. Although it's a mini version, it still takes two and a half hours to complete the walk. The Hwaseong Haenggung Palace is even referred to as the 'sub-palace' of Gyeongbokgung Palace, and it was the filming location for the famous drama 'Dae Jang Geum'.
