Enjoy summer specials at a popular Suzhou noodle restaurant

If you want to eat something in Suzhou, it's Suzhou noodles! 🍜 At the high-end Suzhou noodle shop "Gusuqiao Mianguan," we tried the summer-only "Fengzhen Da Meat Noodles" and "Xiao Long Shrimp Noodles"! "Fengzhen Da Meat Noodles" is characterized by its salt-based soup containing rice grains called jiu niang, and the slight aroma of alcohol whets the appetite. It was sweet and refreshing, and delicious. In China, it is customary to eat crayfish in the summer, but there are not many restaurants that serve crayfish noodles. "Xiao Long Shrimp Noodles" had a shrimp-like texture and were delicious with a salty taste. Not only is the atmosphere high-end, but the service is also high-end! The staff mixed the noodles for us, and we got to see a free performance of Pingdan (a Suzhou-style performance of singing and musical instruments), so we were very satisfied~✌️ This is a popular restaurant that has lines on weekdays as well as weekends. When we went around 11 on the weekend, we were able to sit down without waiting. By 12 o'clock, there was a line.
