Hiking through the beautiful Hengshan, experience the island life

At the beginning of the Dragon Year, I drove to Hengshan Island in Suzhou, took a small half-day hike, and toured half of the island. During the New Year's holiday, there was a constant stream of tourists on Hengshan Island. Some were taking photos and checking in, others were resting and drinking tea. There are many homestays on the island, each with its own unique features and style. Personally, I prefer natural landscapes and ancient village relics, but there are not many of the original ancient village houses left, most of them are homestays with different styles. Some homestays are located by the side of Taihu Lake, and the environment is quite nice. Open the window and you can see the scenery of Taihu Lake's islands, which is quite suitable for a family gathering or team building activities to stay for a few days, to experience the slow life of a small island.
