KUKUP BEACH YOGYAKARTA

Kukup Beach has a small coral island on the east side complete with a viewing post. To reach the island, tourists can walk down the stairs and cross the bridge. This panorama is what often makes Kukup Beach called the Tanah Lot of Jogja. Gunungkidul has long been famous as a district at the southern tip of Jogja which has a row of charming beaches. One of the beaches in Gunungkidul which is known for its beauty is Kukup Beach which is located east of Baron Beach. Like other Gunungkidul beaches, Kukup Beach has a coastline sprinkled with white sand and clear waves. Kukup Beach line is not too long because on either side it is squeezed by rocks. Although not as wide as Baron Beach or Pok Tunggal Beach, Kukup Beach is still charming to visit and serve as a place to unwind. Tourists who visit Kukup Beach can play in the sand or take shelter in natural coral caves that are widely available on the beach. Tanah Lot is Jogja, as people often call Kukup Beach. This is of course not without reason. If in Tanah Lot there is a coral island with a temple on it, on the east side of Kukup Beach there is also a coral island connected by a bridge.
