On April 25, 2023 at 10:30 Iran time, the first stop of the "Talent Leads the Way - Exploring the Wonders of the Persian Empire in Iran" tour was the Golestan Palace, where tour guide Yu Su led everyone to visit and pay respects. Located south of Tehran's central Imam Khomeini Square, this was the palace of the Qajar dynasty before the Pahlavi dynasty, with a history of more than 200 years. Tehran was also established as Iran's new capital during that dynasty, with Isfahan as the previous capital. The Golestan Palace is not large, and unlike the Pahlavi dynasty's palaces filled with modern European styles, it has a strong Islamic architectural style. The exterior walls of the palace are decorated with a large number of colorful glazed tiles, while the interior decoration uses traditional Iranian glass mosaic craftsmanship, luxurious and exquisite.
