🏨 Kamenoi Hotel Toba 📍 Mie Toba (20 minutes by bus from Toba Station) At check-in, we were able to enjoy Ise tea and welcome sweets of salted manju 💕 This is a luxurious and wonderful hotel where you can feel a lot of Toba during your stay. [Room] The room I stayed in this time was "Family Suite with Ocean View Terrace" You can enjoy Toba Bay from the terrace. The Japanese-modern room was spacious and had tatami mats and a sofa, so I was able to relax. I loved spending time on the terrace drinking tea☺️ The sink was very large and comfortable. There is no bathtub, but there is a shower. The amenities were also well-equipped. (You can also get additional DHC amenities in the lobby) [Dinner] A buffet where you can enjoy seafood and mountain produce inspired by Toba Bay. There are so many types of food, from sashimi to tempura, Japanese food to Western food, that it's hard to choose✨ The sweet shrimp is especially recommended for sashimi💗 Sweet and delicious!! You can also enjoy freshly fried tempura. There was Ise udon, and the miso soup had crab in it, so I was very satisfied with the buffet, which gave me a lot of Toba flavor💕 [Hot spring] The hot spring at Kamenoi Hotel is a natural hot spring that is a blend of their own hot spring source and transported hot spring♨️ There is also an open-air bath facing Toba Bay, which is open and comfortable✨️ I was able to relax slowly. It seems that you can also use the hot spring for day trips. When you come out of the hot spring, you can enjoy free ice cream at the rest area💗 [Hell Tour Night Crying Dandan Noodles] A nice service from Kamenoi Hotel: Night Crying Dandan Noodles! The dandan noodles on this day were "Aka Jigoku" Sichuan dandan noodles. The flavor changes every month☺️ The sesame flavor is strong and spicy. It's served in just the right amount, so it's not too heavy even before going to bed. 【Breakfast】 The buffet is held in the same venue as dinner. There are many menus for breakfast. There are a wide variety of Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes, so whether you want to eat rice or bread, you can have it all☺️ There are many side dishes to go with rice, so I ended up eating two bowls of rice in the morning. It was delicious✨️ 【Activity】 This time, I participated in an activity called "Toba's Kitchen Snack Walking"☺️ It's an activity where you can enjoy Toba by snacking on various things for about an hour. The walk starts from Kaito Yumin Club near Toba Station🚶♀️ First, the ryokan "Kuragetsu" grilled dried black sea bream right in front of you✨️ The smell was so good it was irresistible! You can enjoy dried black sea bream, which is hard to find. The black sea bream is so delicious that you can eat it all from head to tail. The proprietress was also wonderful💕 The second place was the sushi restaurant "Sushi Ume". Here, we heard about baran and had seasonal sardine sushi. They also carefully taught us how to cut baran so that you can do it at home. The sushi with the large sardines was very fresh, not fishy at all, and had a lot of fat. This is a sushi shop that makes you want to eat it whole, not just snack☺️ The third place was the pearl specialty shop "Kiba Pearl Shop". Here, we learned how to tell real pearls🙆♀️ Once you've mastered how to tell them apart, you'll also receive a nice gift of one pearl of your choice🎁 It was a great opportunity to learn about many good things about Toba✨️ Although it was only an hour, it was a very fulfilling activity. Time seemed to flow slowly as we gazed out at Toba Bay and soaked in the hot springs.
