Tokyo's Best Value Seafood Bowl: Edo Fuji

However, I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem, "Edo Fuji"! On my visit, I ordered two bowls of seafood rice, and the total cost was only around HKD300. The portions were so generous that the two of us (both women) couldn’t finish them. Even the men at the neighboring table left some behind, and the shop kindly offered to pack the leftovers for takeaway—such thoughtful service! The sashimi here is incredibly fresh, thickly sliced, and comes in such a variety that it piles up like a small mountain. The value for money is truly astonishing, making it the most affordable and satisfying seafood bowl I’ve ever had in Tokyo. The menu is straightforward, mainly focusing on how much sea urchin and tuna you want. However, due to its popularity, some options may sell out, so if you arrive late, you might have fewer choices. Important note: The shop is small with limited seating, and by noon on weekdays, there’s already a queue that can take up to 40 minutes. It’s best to arrive early, especially in winter, as waiting outside can be freezing. If you’re a seafood lover and want to avoid the typical tourist spots, why not give "Edo Fuji" a try? Even locals flock to this place! After one bowl, you’ll be craving for more.
