【Toyama】Tateyama Sanroku Ski Resort

I went on a day trip to the Tateyama Sanroku Ski Resort in Toyama! With the Northern Alps as a backdrop, the breathtaking view stretches from the Toyama Plain all the way to the Noto Peninsula—truly exhilarating! The slopes are divided into two areas: "Gokurakuzaka" and "Raicho Valley," offering a total of seven courses. The upper section features intermediate and steep slopes for an exciting challenge, while the lower section has gentle slopes perfect for beginners and families. What I particularly loved was the downhill experience on the long course (up to 3,000 meters), which makes great use of the natural terrain. Night skiing is also available, allowing you to enjoy the slopes until late! At the "Gokuraku Kitchen" within the resort, the miso pork soup with plenty of onions warmed me up to the core. Access is convenient, with just a 10-minute bus ride from Tateyama Station or about 25 minutes by car from the IC. Parking is free and spacious!
