Soaking in the hot spring, sipping on wine, and watching movies, I really don't feel like going home. The B&B has only two guest rooms, so it's very quiet. Downstairs is a private tea house, with an overall wooden theme. Greenery spreads from the front hall to the backyard and into the house. The hot spring room has a tatami layout, and the opposite big bed room comes with a mahjong table, perfect for a weekend stay with friends. The hot spring pool is cleaned for each guest, and all toiletries including bath towels are disposable. Delicious tea snacks and homemade dishes are served all day. Sitting by the pond in the backyard, having breakfast in the sunshine, I really want to retire forty years early.
