warsaw-poland: a city which you can’t miss it

The old town of Warsaw can be traced back to the 13th century. Although it was rebuilt after World War II, the reconstruction project still presented the original appearance of the old town, and the city is also very historical. The entrance to the Old Town is Plac Zamkowy (Castle Square), where the Kolumna Zygmunta Sigismund Column commemorates King Sigismund III who moved the Polish capital from Krakow to Warsaw; The Royal Castle, built in the 16th century, was the main palace of the former Polish royal family. The north of the city is the red brick Barbakan Warszawski (Warsaw Barbican) as well as the ancient city wall, it represents the Warsaw's history. Close to the old town, there is a Muzeum Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie (Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum), you will learn and know how Curie discovered two chemical elements and won the Nobel Prize twice. Last, there is a museum which called Muzeum Fryderyka Chop (The Fryderyk Chopin Museum). The rich collections in the Chopin Museum show the life of the legendary piano composer and is a must-see for every music lover. #境外遊 #poland
