Sikunir Dieng Hill is a phenomenal small hill located in the Dieng Plateau Tourism Area at an altitude of 2,263 masl. Precisely east of Sembungan Village, Kejajar District, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java. Sembungan village itself is the highest village on the island of Java. Sikunir Hill is very famous for its Golden Sun Rise which is very beautiful and spoils the eyes. If you want to see Golden Sikunir clearly without being covered in fog and clouds, come during the dry season between July-October. In these months the weather is rarely cloudy and the fog is not thick. This is the best time to spot golden Sunrise Sikunir clearly. Usually, tourists who want to enjoy the sunrise at Sikunir Peak spend the night in this lake first by setting up a tent. The climbing post to Sikunir Peak itself only opened at 2 am. That's when visitors can continue the journey to the top to enjoy the stunning sunrise moment. Not only Golden Sunrise Sikunir is targeted by visitors to Bukit Sikunir Dieng, but there is another beauty that we can see at Bukit Sikunir, namely a row of several high mountains on the island of Java which is also one of the spots that visitors are hunting for, especially from photography lovers. From the peak of Sikunir you can see Mount Sindoro which is shrouded in a light mist side by side with Mount Kembang and Mount Sumbing. Not far from the three mountains, you will see the towering Mount Merbabu, Mount Merapi, and Mount Ungaran.
