If I hadn't visited Lijia Mountain Village this time, I probably wouldn't have found Wubao Stone City to be so disappointing, but everything pales in comparison. Compared to the authentic charm of Lijia Mountain, Wubao Stone City is filled with the kind of 'shoddy work' that many scenic spots seem to love: major demolition and construction are underway at the foot of the mountain to build a tourist service center; private cars are no longer allowed to drive up, and visitors must purchase a ticket to take a shuttle bus to and from the entrance of the stone city; almost all buildings are fitted with various non-concealed landscape lights, which suddenly turn the originally simple stone city into something resembling cyberpunk; many of the ancient buildings inside the stone city have been newly renovated, but are obviously long unused... Are you trying to set up a homestay? To speak frankly, this kind of development won't keep people here... Don't even compare it with Lijia Mountain, even when put alongside Fugu Fuzhou City within the province... Why create a rival if you already have a gem? ^_^ As evening approached, the upper reaches of the Yellow River were dark and oppressive, with fierce winds blowing... Breathing in the cold air...
