Wuxi Travel Guide

Thinking of going out for a trip during the National Day holiday, I was afraid of traffic jams if traveling too far, so I decided to visit the surrounding cities. It took a little over an hour to drive from Nantong to Wuxi. ✅The Lingshan Grand Buddha is worth visiting! It's very meaningful and also a great spot for taking photos. Praying for peace and burning incense there is quite nice. You can consider buying a sightseeing car ticket; they announce each stop, and the car drives fast, almost like a roller coaster ride, which is quite fun. I also fed the goldfish, which were beautiful, shining like gold. You can hug the Buddha's foot, and there's no need to buy a guide for the explanation. The queue moves quickly, and once you reach the top, the view is absolutely stunning. There are also many palaces to check in at. ✅I visited the area around Sanyang Plaza, went to Henglong, Suning, and had a drink at Tea Yan Yue Se after queuing for a while. You first scan a code to pre-order, then queue up to pay. I ate at Uncle Beard's stir-fried pork, which is delicious and a must-try, along with the steamed egg and green beans. The bamboo shoots tasted a bit bland though. ✅I went to Turtle Head Isle. It's even more beautiful after winter with the seagulls. This time we bought a ticket for a tourist boat and also climbed a mountain. The main issue was the long queue to board the boat. We arrived a bit late, and it seemed there wasn't much to do besides taking photos. ✅The Sunac Snow World is so much fun!!! It's really worth visiting! Prepare gloves in advance. You can choose to bring a butt pad or not; falling on the snow is still okay. Children and beginners might want to bring one. If you fall, there are staff members to help you up. The visitors who know how to play are all very nice; they help you, teach you, and even take photos for you. It's so much fun! ✅Nanchang Street is fun! Even late at night, there are still many people around. Compared to Nantong, where I hardly see anyone, there are many snacks to try and the place is great for photos. There are also many handsome guys and pretty girls, and there's a cat café where the cats are all very beautiful! However, I didn't get a chance to visit ✅Mao Hua Food and ✅the vegetable market that I wanted to go to when making the plan. I'll definitely go next time!
