Lingshan Buddha's eating, lodging, and incense offering tips, it's a gain once you see it

This is the third Lingshan Buddha guide, remember to look at the previous two guides together, they are very practical. 🚍Transportation (see the previous guide for transportation within the scenic area) You can take bus 88 or Leyou Line 2 directly to Lingshan Scenic Area at the North Square of Wuxi Railway Station. However, it is recommended: 1️⃣It is best to take subway line 2 to Meiyuan Kaiyuan Temple first, then transfer to bus 88/89, which runs every 15 minutes. After leaving the city, the bus is very fast, and it takes only 40 minutes to reach Lingshan Scenic Area for 2 yuan. 2️⃣It is not recommended to take Leyou Line 2. Although there are fewer stops, it has to go to Nianhua Bay first and then turn around to Lingshan (the return trip is the same), so it does not save time compared to bus 88/89, and the fare is 10 yuan. 3️⃣If you want to go to the homestay first (most of them are located on the east side of the scenic area), do not take the bus to the terminal station, get off one stop earlier at Bibo Mountain Villa. 🛌Accommodation 1️⃣There are a lot of homestays and hotels on the east side of the scenic area, and there are also on the west side. Only during the peak season and holidays there are more people, and the rooms are not full on weekends during the off-season, so the prices are basically stable. 2️⃣There is no need to book too early for the off-season, and it may be cheaper to find a place after arrival. If you book in advance, it is recommended to choose a place that can be cancelled for free, so you have more choices after arrival. 3️⃣I went there on a weekend in January, and booked a homestay a week in advance. As a result, I was the only one who checked in on the day, and there was no one in the restaurants on the street at meal times. I found that if I booked a room on the day, it would be 10 yuan cheaper than I booked in advance. 🍜Catering in the scenic area 1️⃣The vegetarian restaurant on the right side of the Ayuwang Pillar, vegetarian noodles/wontons are 35 yuan, and you can also order your own meals, with a wide variety. 2️⃣Wuguantang on the second and third floors of the Fanghai Palace, the vegetarian buffet is 60 yuan per person, 20 yuan for children under 1.4 meters, 98 yuan per person for the Lingshan vegetarian and meat set meal, and there are also multi-person set meals and private rooms. 3️⃣On the right side of the Buddha's Foot Altar, inside the exit of the scenic area is Lingshan Holiday Square. After passing a section of shops, you will reach the food square. There are a wide variety of restaurants here, and the prices are relatively cheap. Be careful not to leave the scenic area, otherwise you won't be able to come back. 🙏Incense offering 🔹There are 4 incense offering points in the scenic area, namely the Buddha's Hand, the Hundred Children Playing Maitreya, the front door of the Xiangfu Zen Temple Daxiong Hall, and the second floor platform under the Buddha. The incense sellers all say there are 5 points, actually they divide the two sides of the Daxiong Hall into two places. You can offer incense at each incense offering point, and there are incense and candles in the scenic area ranging from fifty or sixty to several hundred. 🔹There are aunties selling incense outside the gate, and many supermarkets and homestays on the east side can also offer incense. The scenic area in principle does not allow outside incense, but no one cares if you put it in a black bag. 🔹When offering incense outside the scenic area, you can generally choose the medium incense with 3 sticks in a pack, which is usually 10 yuan. Usually buy 4 or 5 packs (15 sticks); there is also a kind of Fulu Shouxi Cai each with 3 sticks packed together, a total of 15 sticks, 20 yuan. The incense offering is sincere, and you can buy it according to personal preference and ability, don't care about the size, it's not easy to carry if it's too big. ⚠️Avoid pits: 1️⃣Be sure to guard against incense t, the common ones are hitchhiking or asking for help routines, you can find them with a simple search. 2️⃣There is also a kind, the incense and candles displayed are marked up, and then they actively tell you that there is no need to buy such expensive ones, and they take out a cheaper one from behind for you to buy, which is actually exactly the same, and this cheaper one is still more expensive than buying normally. 3️⃣When offering incense, don't listen to how the seller introduces it, you need to compare prices and judge carefully, it's easy to buy expensive if you get carried away.
