For this fairyland mountain, I traveled to Nanping, Fujian!

I've always longed to visit the famous Mount Wuyi in Fujian, and finally, I got my wish during the off-season after the Lunar New Year. Stepping into Mount Wuyi, I was greeted by rolling mountains, rising and falling like waves, with clouds and mist swirling around them, creating a dreamlike landscape. No wonder it's recognized as a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site. This earthly paradise truly makes one want to live in seclusion here.🤣 Travel Guide 🚄 High-speed Rail: You can choose to arrive at either Wuyishan North Station or Nanping Station, both conveniently located. Two-Day Itinerary Day 1: Zhizhi An - Tianyou Peak - Taoyuan Cave - Jade Maiden Peak This route allows you to experience the tranquility of Taoist culture, the magnificence of the mountains and forests, the serenity of a peach blossom spring, and the unique scenery of a Journey to the West filming location. Day 2: Baiyun Chan Temple - Sancai Peak - Moon Bay - Return Wake up early to see the sea of clouds at Baiyun Chan Temple, enjoy the breathtaking sunrise at Sancai Peak, and finally, experience the tranquility of Moon Bay, concluding your journey perfectly. Must-See Photo Spots Baiyun Chan Temple: Only a half-hour climb, you can enjoy vegetarian meals at the temple on the summit. The best time to encounter the sea of clouds is after it rains. The popular mossy path is also hidden here, adding an artistic touch. Tianyou Peak: Although not very high, the mountain is steep. Sancai Peak: A hidden gem of a viewing platform, not many people know about it, but it's a perfect spot for sunrise viewing, with picturesque scenery and a captivating atmosphere. Mount Wuyi is free of charge until June 30, 2025, and public transportation within the city is also free, making it a super affordable trip. ✔️ There's a lot of hiking involved, so be sure to wear comfortable, non-slip athletic shoes for a more enjoyable journey. ✔️ Pack some snacks and water to replenish your energy and stay refreshed.
