Xingwen Stone Sea, a severely underrated national geological park!

🌟 Xingwen Stone Sea, a niche 4A tourist attraction in Yibin, where nature's craftsmanship is vividly displayed 🤗 A superb place to admire karst landscapes❗ Apart from being a bit far, there's nothing to nitpick about❗ A national geological park so quiet you can have it all to yourself❗ Last year, it was even the performance site for the CCTV Mid-Autumn Festival Gala❗ An extremely underrated scenic spot❗ 🚗 Transportation: ▶️ Self-driving: 3 and a half hours from Chengdu to Xingwen County, and over 40 minutes from Xingwen County to the scenic area. It takes 1.5 hours from Yibin to the scenic area. ▶️ High-speed train: Xingwen County has a high-speed train station, departing from the east station, 2 hours. 🏞️ Attractions: A superb place for landscape features❗ The scenic area is very rich in views, mainly divided into four parts: the surface stone sea, Bo people's hanging coffins, the world's largest funnel, and a group of karst caves. It is recommended to visit in the above order, as the whole journey is quite long, about 3-4 hours, and it's best not to backtrack. Personally, I find the karst caves the most interesting, with a super large space inside, featuring skylights, "terraces", and an underground river, etc. The stalactites combined with lighting design create a mysterious and romantic atmosphere, and two spots are among the top 100 most beautiful viewing points in Sichuan. The slide into the karst cave and the boat ride inside are extra charges. 🌳 Surroundings: In addition to Xingwen Stone Sea, Yibin also has other attractions such as Shunan Bamboo Sea to explore. I personally recommend visiting Lizhuang Ancient Town, a newly developed attraction with good planning and high playability, and the authentic Lizhuang white meat is much tastier than one might expect! 🍽️ Accommodation: It is recommended to rest in Xingwen County, which is a large town with convenient living. The Lijiang Maple Hotel is recommended, 200+, with free parking and plenty of food options downstairs.
