Gongtan Ancient Town

Gongtan Ancient Town, located in the western part of Youyang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, Chongqing City, is situated at the junction of Youyang County, Pengshui County, and Yanhe County in Guizhou Province. Gongtan Ancient Town Scenic Area is a tourist scenic area that combines natural landscapes and folk customs. Gongtan Ancient Town currently has about three kilometers of stone slab streets, more than 150 unique firewalls, more than 200 quaint and quiet courtyards, and more than 50 different forms of stilted buildings, which are unique in local characteristics and are well-preserved and large-scale Ming and Qing architectural groups in China.
