Xijindu, the historical ferry crossing in Zhenjiang

In Zhenjiang in March, the afternoon sun is already very strong. The car was parked at a relatively far place, and we saw many beautiful scenery along the way. There are quite a lot of restaurants in Xijindu. The first thing that catches your eye is the various decorations, which are full of literary and artistic atmosphere and very spectacular. As I went deeper, I looked up and wondered why I had to climb stairs to the top of the mountain. It turns out there is a whole new world above the stairs! Later I learned that Xijindu used to be a ferry with a long history. Many places have been renovated. The scenery here is quite unique, and the buildings are in the same style as the city walls. When I climbed up, I felt like I was climbing the Great Wall. Walking all the way down to the main street, it was also very lively. It's not big, but there's no entrance fee, which is great. Zhenjiang’s aged vinegar is very famous, and there are many vinegar-related check-in elements. If you like it, you can really take a jar home to drink.
