The Rising Sun 📍Epsom, Surrey Since its Derby weekend, it seems like a good time to feature a pub from my home town, and the pub that i consider my ‘local’. The Rising Sun is located down a backstreet just outside the town centre making it a bit of a hidden gem away from the riff-raff of the busy town centre. Previously part of the Youngs group (if i remember correctly) it was boarded up over covid and there was concern about whether or not it would reopen before being taken over by Big Smoke. With a huge sun-trap garden to enjoy on those sunny days, and a cosy interior with pictures of the races and Big Smoke posters adorning the walls, its great all year round. Theres a huge selection of beers available to suit every palate, and i’ve never had a bad meal here. They run deals and events like quizzes during the week and host several beer festivals throughout the year (a few photos supplied from last October), there is also water and treats supplied for those four-legged pub companions.

I went to the Rising Sun Epsom Pub it was fantastic and I loved this pub. I strongly recommend you guys 🤩🤩

What a great place for kids. So many different activities for kids to do. We lost count of the number of different play areas. Reasonable price for admission.
