First time to Guildford Surrey in the UK, although it’s just a small town, the scene is beautiful. The town is full of peaceful atmosphere.

We boarded the delightful Pullman at Haywards Heath, traveling to Cambridge and Ely. The carriage staff provided outstanding service, taking excellent care of us. The food and wine were superb, offering a luxurious experience reminiscent of the era. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience on a day trip to Bath. The decor and hospitality went beyond expectations. The carriages were spotless, elegantly furnished, and the seating was incredibly comfortable. The staff were friendly, courteous, and always ready to help. The food served was of excellent quality, and we truly wished the day could have lasted longer.

This trip, from Waterloo to Paignton and Kingswear with Steam Dreams, stands out as the best I've taken with them so far. From beginning to end, we were looked after exceptionally well in the Pullman Class by courteous and attentive staff. They handled everything seamlessly, ensuring no issues arose throughout the journey. The food was phenomenal, starting with champagne on arrival and continuing with breakfast, pastries, a four-course evening meal, and petit fours. Tea and coffee were plentiful, alongside a £21 alcohol allowance. The carriage's decor was stunning, with well-arranged tables and impeccable food service. Our two attendants were fantastic, smiling all day long despite their early 3:00 AM start. Even when we left the train at 9:45 PM, they remained cheerful and dedicated. The carriage manager was great at keeping us informed about the day’s schedule, leaving no questions unanswered. Travelers could board the train at Waterloo or other designated stations, with a vintage diesel engine until Taunton, where the steam engine took over. Initially, the ticket seemed expensive, but the experience proved it to be worth every penny—truly excellent value. At Paignton, passengers had the option to visit either Paignton or Kingswear. We opted for Kingswear and enjoyed a free ferry ride to Dartmouth, with over three hours to explore after showing our ticket. The heritage line between Paignton and Kingswear added a special touch. Overall, it was a long but remarkable day, one that I wholeheartedly recommend to others.

This station is huge so try not to get lost their are staff all over the station that know where to go and how to locate you to your platform ready for your train and it’s awesome for trainspotting as it’s a massive station
