Tanesashi Coast Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Tanesashi Coast
Very tranquil and beautiful coastline that's also a bit out of the way from Hachinohe Station. The train running from Hachinohe to Tanesashikaigan Station runs roughly once every 2 hours so plan your trip carefully!
There's also a sightseeing bus called the Umineko that runs along the full coastline and costs 100 yen per ride. You can get the bus timetable at the information center near Tanesashikaigan Station.

Kabushima Shrine, Hachinohe 🇯🇵
#cherryblossom2024
Kabushima Shrine in Hachinohe is a hidden gem along the beautiful coast of Aomori Prefecture! 🌊 The shrine sits atop a small island connected to the mainland by a picturesque red bridge. Entrance is free, allowing you to explore without worrying about fees. As I crossed the bridge, I was greeted by the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore. The shrine itself is dedicated to Benzaiten, the goddess of water, attracting many visitors seeking blessings for safe travels and prosperity. Nearby, the Kabushima Seabird Colony offers a unique opportunity to witness thousands of black-tailed gulls nesting on the cliffs during breeding season, creating a mesmerizing sight against the backdrop of the ocean. Don't miss the chance to visit this tranquil shrine and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Hachinohe! #KabushimaShrine #Hachinohe #CoastalBeauty 🌺🌊🕊️

Hachinohe Yatai Village Mirokuyokocho Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The three or six alleys are named after the two small streets connected by the three-day street of the three-day town and the six-day town (the "machi" which is quite a Chinese street). There are twenty or thirty specialty food shops in the lanes with a total length of less than 50 meters. The buildings on both sides are row upon row, and each store has only six to ten seats. Seafood, rice cake pot and other dishes are the second choice
