📌 Korça, Albania 📍Bigell Ski Resort, Dardhë Km 12, Korçë 7002 The ski resort of Bigell-Dardhe is located in Albania. For skiing and snowboarding, there are 1.3 kilometers of slopes available. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 1,585 and 1,663 m. In 2012, the first ever ski resort in Albania was opened at Bigell Ski Resort near Dardhe Village. Heavy snowfall hit the mountainous areas in Albania, and this is good news for tourists looking for budget snow destinations. Although this resort is not like those in other European countries,local businesses invest a lot in this type of tourism. The place is adorable during the winter, with snow and small wooden houses.

📌 Korça, Albania Korça is one of the largest and most important cultural and economic centers of Albania, located in the southeastern part of the country. Korça is a town famous for its cultural value and the best place to learn about the local culture is at the National Educational Museum.   Some things to do in this small city: 1) Visit Albania's largest Orthodox Church, the Resurrection of Christ Cathedral. 2) Walk down St.George Boulevard. 3) When you reach the top of St. George Boulevard, you’ll see a rather odd modern building near the tourist information office. The Panoramic Tower isn’t terribly tall, but it’s high enough to give you a pretty incredible view of the entire city from its observation deck. 4)At the First Albanian School & Museum of Education learn about the history of the Albanian language. 5) Sip a Turkish coffee at Old Bazaar. Pazari i Vjeter is the most beautiful neighborhood in Korça and an area that looks like it was pulled straight from a fairy tale; narrow streets, colored buildings, nice cafés, and small boutiques can be found everywhere you look. The first thing to do here is to go straight to Komiteti, a cool café located in the main square of Pazari. Once you’re here, order a Turkish coffee and watch people go about their errands in the Pazari.
