Diving Deep in Mindoro: The Ultimate Island Scuba Adventure.
Finally made it to Mindoro in the Philippines! This place isn't just a backyard for divers; it's an absolute paradise for underwater photography junkies. I knocked out several classic dive sites in one go, and every single tank was worth it!
📍 Underwater Must-Do Highlights
Canyons
This is hands down Mindoro's trump card! Feel the rush of the strong drift as you weave through the canyons. Schools of massive Jackfish circling right overhead—the epic scale is off the charts!
Big La Laguna Wreck
The true charm of wreck diving lies in the beautiful blend of history and coral growth. Watching the sun rays pierce the surface and illuminate the wreckage gives off an incredibly breathtaking and mysterious vibe.
Sabang Wrecks
This spot is basically a bustling underwater downtown! The fish density is insanely high; reach out and it feels like you can touch the ocean's heartbeat (but remember to follow eco-rules and don't actually feed them!).
Red Mark (Titan Triggerfish)
Not only does this spot have a kaleidoscope of vibrant corals, but it's also home to those infamous, highly territorial Titan Triggerfish. Make sure to keep a cool, safe distance when swimming past them.
🏖️ Virgin Island
White sands, turquoise waters, and jelly-like clear seas! Whenever you're burnt out from diving, come here to soak in the untouched purity of a deserted island. Digging your toes into the soft white sand feels like an absolute cleanse for the soul.
Monkey Beach
Lush mountains on one side, the endless ocean on the other.
💡 Post-Dive Thoughts
The prices and seafood in the Philippines are as incredible as ever. Grabbing a Mango Shake right after a dive is simply peak living. If you're still on the fence about your next dive destination, Mindoro definitely won't let you down!

🏝 Boracay White Beach
#White Beach is a must-see sunset spot!🌊 Whether it's sunny or cloudy, it's a beautiful sunset
If you're traveling to Boracay, you must see the sea before sunset. In the evening, boats on sailing boat tours begin to gather at the beach, and this is the perfect sunset photo spot!! Watch the sunset on the sand while popcorn❌ Sweet and sour mangosteen🥭 Prepare in advanceㅎㅎ You can buy mangosteen cheaply at the market near the beach, D'Mall! It's a beautiful travel destination until the last moment when the sun sets :D
It was my last overseas trip right before Corona, so I miss it when I see it again🥲 I look forward to the day when I can travel without restrictions!

I had never heard of Tukuran Falls until I set foot for the first time in Puerto Galera. I did not spend time googling before embarking on that two-night trip to White Beach. After all, going there just for the beach-side nightlife did not need that much planning. Finding, however, that it could be dull to wait all day by the beach or within the confines of the hotel room before the pubs open at nightfall, we went beyond Galera's seaside.

Puerto Galera - Independent Travel.
Not far from Manila lies an island escape far from the hustle and bustle—Dolphin Island. Compared to the crowds of Boracay and the vibrant energy of Cebu, this place perfectly blends tranquility with tropical warmth, making it the top choice for travelers looking to slow their pace.
The journey begins at Batangas Port, taking a ferry to the island. Upon arrival, hop on a locally modified tuk-tuk and cruise slowly along the coast. The sea breeze, the sunshine, and the scattered voices from the streets intertwine, giving the trip a cinematic feel from the very first moment of motion.
Dive deep and feel the ocean's breath
Step into Coral Garden, dive into the crystal-clear waters, and float alongside colorful schools of fish; here, time seems to slow down. Every breath is a healing gift from the ocean. Back on shore, pick a restaurant with an exotic vibe. Even a simple meal will wrap you in rich, layered flavors, letting your taste buds extend the lingering charm of the journey.
Slow down in the hot springs
Once your body and soul are fulfilled by the sea and delicious food, take a tuk-tuk deeper into the island to reach Aninuan Hot Springs. Surrounded by lush greenery, these hot springs offer the ultimate relaxation. Soaking in the warm water helps your mind and body gradually realign, serving as the perfect finale to your trip.
Unassuming yet deeply memorable; not too far away, yet far enough to escape the daily routine. Dolphin Island is more than just a tourist spot—it's a journey into the art of slowing down.
Mindoro Philippines Diving
This island has a lot of restaurants, including many Korean eateries, so it seems like a place with a large Korean population. However, there weren't too many Koreans on the streets, so it was a good experience.
The marine biodiversity is also quite rich, with some impressive large fish in the strong current areas. It should be a friendly place for diving enthusiasts. The hotels are also quite comfortable.
I love too see the whole panay. Its very beautiful view .
Always in Awe of the Island of Mindoro 🤩
The island of Mindoro may be accessed by boat from the International Port Batangas pier. From Manila, the travel time going to Batangas Port takes up to 3 hours via private car and then you can take a fast ferry to Calapan for an hour. This amazing island is probably known for its Puerto Galera which is famous for its stunning beach and coral reefs. Other numerous finest beaches, mountains and falls can be found also in Mindoro.

Puerto Galera From Above
Puerto Galera is a town on the Philippine island of Mindoro. It’s known for its dive sites and beaches. The long curve of White Beach is backed by bars and resorts. Inland, a forest trail leads to secluded Talipanan Falls, and a hillside 9-hole golf course sits above the coast. Northeast, the waters

White Beach
White Beach is the most popular of Puerto Galera’s 32 beaches especially among Filipino tourists. Come summer, from March to May, Manila tourists flock to Puerto Galera by the hundreds, and during the Holy Week, by the thousands. During this period, the rates of accommodations can increase by more than 300 percent. Private homes are rented out to many who could no longer be accommodated in the more than 50 resorts and lodging inns in in the area.
White Beach, during this time, is the scene of many concerts and festivals organized by big corporations like San Miguel, Smart and Globe. The beach are filled with people, relaxing, walking to and fro, sunbathing, playing volleyball, riding jet skis and banana boats. At dawn, people sit at the beach to witness one of the best sunsets in the country. At night, more people come out to enjoy meals at beachfront restaurants. There are several open-air bars with “gay dancers” and serving Puerto Galera’s trademark concoction, “Mindoro Sling”. There are also many tattoo shops and souvenir shops along White Beach.

After snorkeling, I became a wolverine mermaid, hahaha! In the white sand beach, there are so many people, wearing mermaid costumes, people who pass by are looking at you, you are like a monkey, it is indeed a wolverine, the photo is also taken a hundred can be selected with a finger can count. The mermaid experience is also booked at the hotel. A coach takes you on a warm-up exercise, explains the basic skills, and various mermaid swimming postures. Finally, try the mermaid tour in the sea.
On the shore, its okay, the water is chaotic, the sky is not colored, the sea I see is gray, the experience is not so smart, plus we have too many tourists on the white beach. The two mermaids are crawling there. Everyone is watching me and the coach. I can't enjoy it. The rest are shy and embarrassed. This should be the most embarrassing thing in the whole network. The snails with the finest picture quality are taken care of. Just look at it as you like, and you can smile.
