Huai Sai Khao Hot Spring
It is an old hot spring that has been around for a long time. It is a natural hot spring source. The front is next to the main road and the back is surrounded by forests. It is open for visitors and free relaxation. It is built as a cement pond with hot water, warm water and cold water. Now, it has been developed to provide more convenience. When you walk into Huai Sai Khao Hot Spring, you will experience a shady atmosphere because the back is still a relatively complete forest. When you walk in, there is a sign and a map showing the location clearly. Going straight in, we will see a twin building for sitting and soaking our feet. It is quite comfortable. You can sit and soak your feet in the building or soak your feet at the point where the hot water flows through. But if you want to soak in mineral water, contact the staff at the relaxation building on the left when we entered. The rooms for soaking in mineral water are behind the relaxation building. There are 4 rooms in total. It is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There are rules and procedures for soaking in mineral water. You must study them carefully. Everything has both advantages and disadvantages. If your body is not ready or uses it for too long, you can ask the staff in charge. On the day I went, they explained how to turn on the hot and cold water and the duration of the soak in detail. Most importantly, soap is not allowed. Various chemicals or spas, because they cause the wastewater to clog the tree. In addition, there is a pavilion for relaxing and a long bridge across the pond to the tent area. This is a good place to take pictures and you can also feed the fish. There is a fee for feeding the fish. #Hot Springs #Chiang Rai

Today, I had the opportunity to visit this temple, make merit, and improve my luck in 2566. During this time, the temple has built a pagoda. It is located behind the church, which is a chedi or a pagoda. It is white and has paintings surrounding the pagoda. If anyone travels via Phan District, I would like you to come and pay homage to the pagoda. #Make merit #Ask for blessings #Worship #Chiang Rai #Tambon Sai Khao #Improve luck

Phra That Sam Duang Temple, Phan District, Chiang Rai Province
Wat Phra That Sam Duang According to legend, this pagoda was built around 1839 B.E. and was later renovated in 1933 B.E. by the disciples of Khru Ba Sin Tham and Khru Ba Chaiya to be used as a place for monks to practice Dhamma. Originally, it was an abandoned temple with the remains of three ancient brick pagodas and many broken and dilapidated laterite Buddha images. From the broken bricks, it is estimated that they are at least 700 years old. Later, the remains of the Buddha images were stolen, leaving only the collapsed pagoda (chedi). According to the National Office of Buddhism, the temple was established on March 13, 2013.

#Doi Luang is located in Doi Luang National Park, an area that includes Phayao, Lampang and Chiang Rai provinces. It is a fairly brutal hiking and nature study trail. With its steepness that gradually climbs to the highest peak at 1,694 meters above sea level, this place became another trip that impressed us and won our hearts.
On the top of Doi Luang, you can pitch a tent. There is a 360-degree viewpoint amidst a million-dollar mountain view. There are no amenities, no bathrooms, no electricity. Tourists must prepare their own body and cooking equipment.

Wat Huay Sai Khao | Chiang Rai 🛕✨
At first, I thought I wouldn't make it there 😂
Because on the way, the driver and the GPS were having a huge argument lol, to the point where we almost decided to turn the car around and go back.
But once we actually arrived... I'm so glad we didn't! 😆
The temple is gorgeous. The art and architecture are quite unique, with what feels like a hint of Indian influence. The colors and details are everywhere—there's something to see no matter where you look 📸✨
What started as almost not making it became a place I would have deeply regretted missing if we had turned around that day 😂
Maybe the GPS doesn't actually want us to get lost... it's just testing the driver's patience first lol 🚗🤣

Strolling down streets embraced by the warm breeze, the air is infused with a faint roasted aroma and the sweet scent of flowers and fruits. Everyone you see walks at a leisurely pace, and they always greet travelers from afar with genuine, gentle smiles. Taking a random turn into a quiet, narrow alley, you'll stumble upon cozy stalls brimming with home-cooked snacks. The uncle at the stove expertly tosses his spatula, sending the fragrant steam wafting far and wide. When handing you your food, he'll even add an extra spoonful of his homemade sweet sauce. There's no need to plan a packed itinerary in advance; just wandering aimlessly like this, you might come across a wall entirely covered in blooming flowers. Sitting on a low stool by the roadside in the evening, watching passersby with their unique stories slowly stroll by, the everyday worries you've accumulated gradually melt away in the relaxed warmth of everyday life. Even hurried footsteps naturally slow down, leaving you wanting nothing more than to completely immerse yourself in these soft, stress-free moments. The air on these streets is incredibly fresh and comfortable.

🏠 The Ubosot (ordination hall) was constructed in 2007. Its Chofa (gable finial) is uniquely crafted as a Sangkhalok (celadon) Naga head. Inside, it enshrines "Luang Pho Khao," the principal stucco Buddha image in the Maravijaya (Subduing Mara) posture.
🙏🏽 The replica of the Buddha's footprint was commissioned by King Maha Thammaracha I in 1359 AD. Carved into a stone slab, this right footprint is bordered by 54 Dok Chan (floral motifs).
