The rocky desert is different from the typical sand dunes and it’s made up of rocky small hills and dry riverbeds which gives off a rugged vibe. It’s a nice spot for camel ride and quad bike. Recently, some friends and I celebrated our friendship in an interesting way by taking a camera ride in the Agafay desert situated just a short drive from the city of Marrakesh, Morocco. It was so much fun and we had a really good time. The camels were very placid and calm and it was amazing riding through the desert with the snow covered High Atlas Mountains in the background. Amazing Day out on quad bikes in Marrakesh and hot air balloons! A must!

#grouptravel Had the best time on a group trip to the Atlas Mountains in Morocco! We started in Marrakech with a camel ride in the stunning Agafay Desert, which was such a unique experience! 🐪 Then, we enjoyed a delicious traditional Moroccan lunch in a lovely village. 🍽️ We capped off the day with a 30-minute hike to the incredible Imlil Waterfall, and it was totally worth it! #100waysoftravel #Morocco #AtlasMountains

Beautiful atmosphere, its a must visit. After enjoying traversing the sand dunes on quad bikes, we arrived at the dinner camp with a quick stop for a camel ride. With the sunsetting and sand blowing in the wind, it truly was a sight to see and I was lucky to capture this on camera. Overall a fantastic experience!You must try and visit.
