A must-visit shop when you visit Ise Shrine in Mie. On a weekday afternoon, we waited in line for about 5 minutes! There's always a line, so I was surprised that it was so empty. It's nice to be able to eat by the river. A set of two Akafuku and hot tea costs 400 yen (No one-order rule) The sweet bean paste goes well with hot tea. This is Okage Yokocho in summer. It was very charming, and somehow made me feel nostalgic. Of course, I recommend trying the local specialties at the many shops, but the ice-cold Ramune drinks being sold on the street really made me feel like it was summer. The weather was nice, and the river was flowing nearby, so I recommend going to the riverbank and enjoying the breeze. It's a little far from Ise City, so it takes about 30 minutes by bus or other public transport. There aren't many buses, and many people get on, so I recommend giving yourself plenty of time. #domestictravel
