Located in the verdant valley of the Kolaw Mountains, the Valley of the Temples is the resting place of many Hawaiians. The Byodo-In Japanese Buddhist Temple is the main attraction of the Valley of the Temples. Byodo-In translates as "Byodo-In". The Buddhist temple was built in 1968, mainly to commemorate the centenary of the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii on the island. The style of the temple is to imitate the Buddhist temple in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. The entire Buddhist temple has no nails from top to bottom, and the design is perfect. From the wavy design of the gravel to the small bridge above the fish pond, it reflects the designer's intentions.
