Chitwan National Park 🇳🇵Chitwan
Seeing animals in the wild is definitely the purpose of any trip to a safari trip. So staying in the Chitwan national park for three days, we had our hopes up.
and
We were not disappointed in anyway, throughout the day the reserve hotel ran different excursions from walks in the morning, kayak rides at sunset and the jeep safari tour too. We did them all, and if I was there another week I'd still do every option.
Over our time in the park we saw Rhinos wandering past our lodgings, on our morning walks and on the jeep tour.
On the morning walks we also saw a lot of wild boar, and tons of birds, the guide would carry a stick and talk about tigers and elephants the entire time just to keep you on edge.
On the boat in Pic7 you would see birds and crocodiles, lots and lots of crocodiles. the banks had crocodiles and the water had so many peeking eyes it would get a good reaction if anyone slightly rocked the boat.
The jeep tour! We saw Rhinos, elephants and bears + some tiger footprints. I'd say that was success and we were chuffed.
Nepal | Nepal's First National Park | Chitwan National Forest Park
Chitwan National Forest Park, located near Kathmandu, is vast in area and is Nepal's first national park. Initially established to protect the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, it now hosts over 50 species of mammals and 525 species of birds. The scenery is pleasant, the air is fresh, and it's incredibly healing.
Lucky enough to spot two one-horned rhinoceroses, three or four peacocks in courtship, a white-throated munia basking in the sun on a tree, a family of spotted deer out foraging, as well as various unidentified birds. There were also crocodiles, wild boars, pheasants, egrets, etc., that didn't make it into the frame; you can either take a boat to visit Chitwan National Forest Park or walk to enjoy the experience, which is excellent.

📒Note—2024.1.12 Chitwan Jungle Safari, Chitwan Jungle Tour
Unlike my Safari in Masai mara, in Chitwan, Nepal, I ride elephants into the primitive jungle to chase animals, breathe with the forest, and live a dust-free life for two days.
I also enjoy it, the second safari in my life.

First experience of Chitwan Forest Tour
Bumpy all the way from Kathmandu to Chitwan, driving into the edge of the forest by jeep, it still retains a very primitive state.
Four people rode an elephant into the jungle. According to the guide, to distinguish the age of the elephant, you need to look at its ears. The whiter the color, the older it is, just like human white hair. My partner and I rode a steady elephant mother, who has always been the leader in the elephant team, leading everyone forward. Her elephant son followed behind, playing with branches with his trunk for a while, and then stopping to bite a few leaves. He was naughty and cute. Whenever the elephant mother looked back at him, he immediately started to move forward obediently, showing the deterrence of the mother.
Then we changed to a wooden boat and went downstream. Along the way, we saw many beautiful birds, groups of sika deer, rhino mother and son playing in the mud, and crocodiles and old turtles basking in the sun on the river beach, a scene of peace and tranquility. Listening to the sound of gurgling water and breathing the air full of negative oxygen ions in the forest, it purifies the body and mind from the inside out.
Wild and exotic Chitwan, chasing the heritage-level Asian single-horned rhinoceros in the jungle
I flew from Chongqing to Kathmandu on Himalaya Airlines on December 12th, departing at 16:25, just passing through the Himalayas at sunset, it's really beautiful.
The first stop is Chitwan, which is the last refuge for the Asian single-horned rhinoceros. It was once the winter hunting ground for the royal family and the upper class, and it has also been poached by locals. At the worst time, there were only about 60 rhinos left.
In 1973, Chitwan established Nepal's first national park. Among the more than 700 species of animals in Nepal, most of them live in groups in Chitwan. In 1984, the park was listed as a World Natural Heritage.
Now, the number of rhinos has recovered to nearly 700. Bengal tigers, crocodiles, deer, bears, leopards, and various birds and migratory birds are all living happily in Chitwan.
The early morning in Chitwan, the mist is lingering on the Napudi River, accompanied by the bird's song, and the heart of the forest, Chitwan, is visited by a canoe. Early morning and evening are when wild animals come out to forage, and it's also time for the crocodiles in the Rapti River to enjoy breakfast.
In Chitwan, in addition to off-road vehicle safaris and elephant riding, following the guide into the jungle to find the Asian single-horned rhinoceros is also very ceremonial. Although rhinos are herbivores, they occasionally hurt people.
So some people will die under the horn of a rhino, and some will die in the mouth of a tiger. When touring the park, be sure to follow the local professional guide. The Tharu people's village is next to the jungle, and their work in the forest is also somewhat risky.
In Chitwan National Park in Nepal, the hardest to encounter are Bengal tigers, bears, leopards, followed by Asian single-horned rhinos, turtles, monkeys, the easiest are two kinds of deer, crocodiles, peacocks and various birds.
At the hotel, I also encountered a grand traditional Nepalese wedding, which is rare.
Tips:
Himalaya Airlines has direct flights in four cities in China, namely Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, and Qingdao. Among them, Beijing has one flight every Friday, Shanghai has one flight every Saturday, Chongqing has every Tuesday and Saturday, and Qingdao has two flights every Thursday and Sunday.
Elephant Safari in Nepal 🇳🇵
It was a life time experience for me. Elephant safari is the safest and best ways to spot wildlife from up close.
During the trip, you are never alone because you are always accompanied by professional guides and naturalists.
Elephant safari in chitwan national park, nepal.
Chitwan, a fertile alluvial plain in southern Nepal, means the heart of the jungle. The Chinese translation is Chitwan.
More than 100 kilometers from Pokhara to Chitwan, it took more than five hours, also because of the super bad road. All the way down, the whole person was very uncomfortable, only to listen to the song while hypnotizing, until I fell asleep.
Later I was awakened from the shackles. I opened my eyes and looked out the window. I saw a green paddy field, and there was a big river flowing. I was shocked for a moment. I really didn't think that a tourist city would look like this.
During the walk, the resort staff asked us to keep quiet and then pointed us to see crocodiles, rhinos, deer, egrets and some unknown birds hidden in the rivers or in the grass.
We have been following the river until we return to the resort until the sun sets.
The Chitwan of Nepal, the original colony was the territory of the British royal family holiday hunting, now known as the "Royal Chitwan National Park."
Known as the one-horned rhinoceros, the one-horned rhinoceros is an animal that is endangered in the world and is extremely precious. The Bengal tiger is also a key protected animal in the park. Here you can also visit the snow-capped Himalayas. The Lapti River, which is a collection of seven rivers flowing down the Himalayas, flows through it, allowing visitors to watch crocodiles and find wild animals on a cruise.
