Chuansha Ancient City Wall is located in Chengxiang Primary School, No. 171, Xinchuan Road, and is now a small park independently. Under the corner is Guanlan Academy, which is now Chengxiang Town Primary School. The city wall was once seriously damaged due to neglect of protection. After being renovated, it lost some of its quaint charm. Although it is a bit regrettable, the history deposited here is unquestionable. Today, there are still more than 60 meters of the ancient city wall. You can walk up the bluestone steps, stroll through the city wall with shadows of trees, and reminisce about the past in a quiet historical site. The ancient city wall of Chuansha was built by the people of Chuansha to resist the invasion of Japanese pirates. With this city wall, the people of Chuansha successfully repelled many invasions by the Japanese pirates. This city wall is a physical evidence of the Chinese nation's indomitable resistance to foreign aggression. The three-story pavilion with flying eaves and horns standing on the city wall, namely Kuixing Pavilion, is an old relic of Wenchang Palace that has been rebuilt. Opposite the Kuixing Pavilion is the Yuebei Pavilion, which is also rebuilt. The pavilion preserves the stone tablet engraved with Yue Fei's handwriting. This handwriting is one of the seven masterpieces that Yue Fei encouraged his friends to fight against the enemy. Unfortunately, the handwriting is now blurred and difficult to understand. According to records, the old city has four gates in the east, south, west and north, Zhenhai Gate in the east, Yingrui Gate in the south, Taiping Gate in the west, Gongji Gate in the north, each with a suspension bridge, the moat is 12 zhang wide and 1.5 zhang deep. . There are 4 Yuecheng, 372 pheasant towers and 12 forts on the city wall, which are quite large. After a hundred years of wind and rain erosion, the city wall has collapsed in many places, showing a dilapidated scene. Now you can still see this part of the city wall, which can be called the gathering place of Chuansha City historic sites.
