Stunning architectural appearance and changes in light and shadow When I first saw the Dongdaemun Design Plaza, I was immediately attracted by its silver metallic curved exterior. The entire building has no obvious right angles, but is presented with smooth curves and soft lighting, giving it a futuristic feel no matter from which angle you view it. At night, DDP's LED light show is even more amazing. The lights are projected onto the smooth exterior walls of the building, creating different atmospheres as the colors change, adding a sense of fantasy to Dongdaemun at night. I spent quite a bit of time taking photos around the square, capturing different beauty from every angle. No wonder it’s one of the most popular Instagram spots in Korea. ⸻ 2. During this visit, I happened to come across a fashion exhibition of young Korean designers, which displayed many avant-garde clothing designs and innovative works, allowing me to see the diversity and creativity of the Korean design industry. In addition, there is a design store here that sells a variety of cultural and creative products, household items, stationery and fashion accessories by Korean designers.
