This hotel is close to the subway station and is convenient for getting anywhere. At the entrance on the first floor, there is a HIGHTIDE store merchandise corner, a restaurant and a cafe, and the hotel itself is very well-equipped. I stayed here with the morning buffet, and there was a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, and they were very delicious! The rooms are simple. We booked our accommodation at the Fukuoka Toei Hotel. Since it was our first trip abroad, we set aside a lot of money. After passing through immigration and exiting, there is a shuttle bus stop on the island in the middle of the road to the domestic airport. I don’t remember exactly where it is, but you can easily find it with Google’s help. If you take the shuttle bus and get off at the domestic airport stop, the subway is right there, so you can choose your accommodation by looking at the prices and reviews as much as possible. The first choice for Fukuoka is Toei Hotel, which is located between two subway stations. It is very convenient to take the subway or JR. The surrounding area is a commercial and residential area, very quiet. There are Family Mart, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, and Shinseido Drugstore nearby, which are very convenient.

It was close to both Watanabedori Station and Yakuin Station, and the room was spacious, which was nice. I was given a card-type key, but I didn't have to insert the card and I could use the electricity etc. The room wasn't too dark and there were multiple lights, which was a good impression. There was also plenty of storage space, so it didn't seem like it would be an inconvenience. There was no large public bath, but the bath in the room came with a shower head with three different water flows, which was satisfying. Breakfast was buffet style and we could enjoy local dishes. I liked that there was a Balmuda toaster. There were izakayas and convenience stores nearby, but I didn't use them, so it was convenient. I would like to stay again.

I requested the new building because there was a rumor that the old building's bathroom smelled. The bathroom was spacious and the room was also spacious! It was great for opening my suitcase and it was spacious. It was a bit far from Tenjin and Hakata, but it was a good distance to walk if you weren't traveling in the very hot summer! I think I'll use it again next time. The only regret is that there is a microwave only on the 6th floor of the old building, and the shower line in the bathroom was short. Other than that, I was very satisfied. These days, even if you stay for several nights in Japan, they don't give you water, but here, they give you water every day, which was nice. I went to Toei's Fukuoka Hotel. I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days and it was a cheap and old hotel. The front desk is very helpful. There is a microwave and ice maker on the 3rd floor. There is Tebo (a famous okonomiyaki restaurant (cat)) and a large supermarket nearby. #Ho-kang-su Advantages It's cheap. (The price is low even if you include breakfast) It's right next to the bus stop. There are good restaurants and coffee shops. Yayoi-ken is right next door (24 hours) Disadvantages It's an old hotel. (The only temperature control is air conditioning H M L) The electrical outlets are around the table. (There are no outlets around the bed) There is basic noise. ( You can hear the sound of the machine running and the Korean couple fighting outside.) Breakfast is monotonous ( 4 kinds of bread, karayage, fish cake, raw egg, cereal, salad, bacon, roast beef (not so good), other Japanese side dishes) It was cold. There are no convenience stores nearby (you have to walk a bit) There are no Yoshinoya, Matsuya, Sukiya, etc. except Yayoiken

Hotchan Ramen near Watanabedori Station in Fukuoka. I heard that many locals come here to relieve their hangovers. The rich pork broth is full of pork flavor, but it's not salty and really delicious.
